Mosaic Fine Art Abstracts (temporary name)

Irit Levy and Pam Givens are inviting you to submit your work to the new book – Mosaic Fine Art Abstracts (temporary name).
This will be the next in the series of the Mosaic Fine Art books.

The intent with this series of books is to make a statement to the art world at large that mosaic art is fine art.

Mosaic Fine Art Abstracts (temporary name) will showcase several featured artists who are known for their outstanding abstract mosaic art.  The book will also include a gallery of mosaic fine art abstracts from artists around the world.

All selected work will be chosen carefully and will mark the excellent and outstanding work in this medium.
Our purpose is to show excellent works not only by the way they are executed but also by their composition, style and expression. Craftsmanship and expression are equally important.

A non-refundable entry fee of 20 Euros must be included with your submission.

What is abstract?
It’s not an easy task to define anything concerning the arts, but I find this extract from Wikipedia closest to what we mean:
Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. This departure from accurate representation can be only slight, or it can be partial, or it can be complete.
